We are Lulu and Chloe Sullivan. In 2017, our father died suddenly. As we faced our grief, we really struggled; both of us partially leaned on friends, family, and teachers, but we also felt incredibly alone. We didn’t want to burden the people who also lost him, and nobody else in our life understood what we were going through.
In 2020, Lulu founded Teen Grief as a resource she wished she had had to help her through her grief. Listening to advice from somebody her age who also knew true loss was something she needed (and still needs), so she created Teen Grief’s podcast. Chloe got involved soon after to spread the word. Her main goal is to present Teen Grief to a larger community who has experienced loss, and build a space for people to share stories and support each other.
